  259.    Found in far northern waters, the bays and riv-ers of the Yukon, Canada, and the Amur River in Asia.
  260.    These small, docile, ivory-colored whales are being decimated by the man-made pollution found in the St. Lawrence River, where they are other-wise "protected". Cancerous tumors, skin lesions, and chemically-induced genetic disorders are quickly making the continuation of this species an improbability.
  261.    Greenpeace has even gone so far as to pinpoint and name some of the major culprits, citing Rey-nolds and Alcoa Aluminum as examples of water polluters directly damaging the whales.
